This original painting was created on archival Arches Oil Paper, to give the oil paint the feel of watercolor. The focus in this work is on the expansive mark-marking capabilities of oil paint and the balance of positive and negative shapes. Through the abstracted marks and delicate line work, a figure can be made out from the white of the paper, a silhouette tending to the garden.

The painting is 30” x 22”, Oil on paper. This painting is currently framed and includes a 1.25” sand colored matte to complement the colors in the painting, and a simple mushroom-grey-brown wooden frame. Total dimensions with the frame totals to 34” x 26.625”.
