This original oil painting is on 16” x 12” archival Arches Oil paper and has a 7/8” white border surrounding the painting. I love creating experimental and loose portraits that have a strong focus on drawing through use of line, and also contain bold color relationships. Heavy and textured brushstrokes contrast sparse and dry areas of paint next to elegant and scrawling line work.
