This original oil painting is 7.25” x 7” with a 0.75” white border surrounding (8.5” x 8.75”). Crafted on Arches Oil Paper, it was created out of my interest in color theory and creating color studies in preparation for larger paintings. It is a split complementary color exploration that uses arbitrary color to mirror the heightened state of awareness, interconnectedness, and depth of experience that I find in the natural world.
