This original oil painting is 7.75” x 7” with a 0.75” white border surrounding. Crafted on Arches Oil Paper, it was created out of my interest in color theory and creating color studies in preparation for larger paintings. This painting investigates a tertiary triad color scheme. My use of arbitrary color is an attempt to express the heightened state of awareness, interconnectedness, and depth of experience I find in the natural world.
