This original 12” x 15” oil painting is incredibly sculptural, with three-dimensional painted elements slightly raised off the surface of the painting. Within painterly brushstrokes of calming blues and greens, a semi-abstracted figure can be seen sitting cross-legged underneath a nearby branch of a tree. The elements of the landscape flow over and throughout the person, insinuating that they are one with their surroundings.
